You invite two spectators on stage.
You blindfold the first spectator so that they can’t see anything that happens on stage.
Unbeknownst to them and the rest of the audience, you hold up a large cloth in front of the second spectator and ask them to pose their body in any position. Like a statue, they adopt the position they want with their arms, legs, head, and then must remain still. You then completely cover them with the cloth to keep their position entirely secret.
No one sees them choose their body position—not the audience, not even you, as you keep your head turned away throughout the process.
You then return to the first spectator, who still has their back turned and their eyes blindfolded, and give them a whistle. You explain that you will now have fun striking different poses with your body, and when they blow the whistle, you’ll stop in one position!
To the rhythm of the applause, you playfully parade through various positions with your body.
The spectator, using their whistle, stops you in a random position from among the many you just displayed to the audience. The spectator can even choose to stop you in a different position.
Once the position is chosen, it’s time to check if there was any coincidence with the spectator under the cloth.
The first spectator removes the cloth from the second, and there it is—the entire audience is astonished: your bodies are in the exact same position! How is this possible? Was it chance, coincidence, or magic? Thousands of positions were possible, yet your arms, head, and legs are positioned in exactly the same way.
The audience, completely blown away by what just happened, applauds you as you thank the spectators who participated in this incredible experience.
